Abstract The preliminary analysis of the wind turbine concrete structure is performed under the environmental loads such as wave pressure, current to develop a new type of offshore concrete structures. For the analysis of support structure, the wave pressure applied to offshore concrete structure is developed based on diffraction theory. The diffraction theory on the 3D solid finite element was used for 3-dimensional analysis of steel-concrete offshore wind turbine structure. The wave pressure by diffraction theory was validated with the example of circular cylinder model and was compared with the analytical solution. The natural frequency analysis were carried out to evaluate the resonance behaviour of the steel-concrete wind turbine offshore structure. As the results of natural frequency analysis, the offshore structure has stable vibration characteristic and has no resonance. The stresses of structure obtained from hydrodynamic loads to the structure were acceptable with the criteria of offshore standard.
