Title 비선형 모델 예측 제어를 이용한 풍력발전 제어시스템 설계에 관한 연구 (A Design of Wind Turbine Control System using Nonlinear Model Predictive Control)

Abstract Most of the control systems of wind turbine are generally designed based on a linear system model, such as PI/PID. However, the linear control systems do not sufficiently consider the nonlinearity of wind turbine. Therefore, it is necessary to design nonlinear control system of wind turbine. In this study, the method for designing wind turbine control system using nonlinear model predictive control(NMPC) is presented. NMPC computes the optimal control input through the optimization using the predicted states information of system in finite horizon open-loop. The direct multiple shooting method is used to predict the system state in open-loop. The simulation study has been carried out at high wind speed condition. The result compared with the PI controller indicates that the performance of the NMPC outperforms that of the conventional PI/PID control systems.
