Title DFIG 풍력발전기의 정격출력 운전중 전원 저전압 발생시 회전자권선의 과도 상태 분석 (Transient State Analysis of Rotor Winding of DFIG Wind Generator in case of Decrease of Source Voltage during its Rated Output Operation)

Abstract The transient response of a DFIG(Doubly Fed Induction Generator) during grid voltage disturbances are investigated as a preliminary study for LVRT(Low Voltage Ride Through) technology. As the stator of the DFIG is directly connected to the grid, the induced EMF(Electromotive Force) at the rotor winding becomes very high, which requires a special protective devices such as a crow bar during the voltage transient. In this paper the airgap flux is calculated and the transient voltage at the rotor winding is predicted according to the fault conditions such as the variation of the magnitude of voltage dip and the rotor speed. The maximum voltage calculated from this analysis can be utilized to optimize the design of the protective devices in a DFIG system. To verify the proposed method, the calculation results are compared with extensive computer simulations and lab-scale experiments.
